The Essentials of Dynamic Yoga

Dynamic yoga is a creative combination of Hatha, Iyengar and Astanga. Dynamic yoga is not only meditative but also athletic and physically  challenging. Correct breath control is essential to creating a seamless flow of postures (asanas) . Dynamic yoga draws on the banhas (inner energy locks) to help extend the breath. This yoga brings enormous health benefits; It tones the internal organs, strengthens the connective tissues, corrects misalignment of the spine, develops good breathing techniques, encourages relaxation and purifys the spirit. Through bringing the body and mind in harmony through yoga postures, you will find that your whole approach to life changes. Not only will you
become stronger physically but also mentally and emotionally. Instead of simply reacting to everyday events and situations you will find yourself more able to respond to them mindfully. The practice of this ancient Kemetic creation involves patience,  perseverance and keen observation of the self. The consistant practice of yoga postures cultivates the ability to observe what is in the present moment. By focusing your attention on the subtle and broad movements of both mind and body, you are able to gain pure insight into the nature of things as they truly are. This is known as mindfulness, from which follows happiness, freedom and peace.
